Druids Glen Walking Trail

Soak up our natural surroundings and experience all there is to see on our walking trail. We have introduced a number of points of interest along the trail for you to enjoy. Whether you want to take a leisurely stroll, stop for a picnic or submerge yourself in the history of Woodstock House our beautiful grounds, our walking trail has it all.
Walking Trail 4km, 45 - 60 minutes.
1. Birdlife and Waterlife
There are many types of indigenous species on the resort; which you can spot along the walking trail.
2. Tee Off with the Greats
Many of the golfing greats have played and been tested here and now you have the chance to experience what it is like to stand in their shoes!
3. Fairy Forest
Do you believe in fairies? If you are quiet enough, you might see them at one of our fairy doors!
4. Picnic by the Brook
Bring a little picnic with you and take time out and enjoy our natural surroundings.
5. Wood Chip Mulching
Here at Druids Glen we produce our own wood chips with 100% recycled green waste from the 400 acres of the Resort. You can see each stage of the wood chips at this point.
6. Druids Giant Tree
This magnificent tree is the inspiration behind the Druids Glen Hotel & Golf Resort logo.
7. Sports
Kilcoole GAA pitches are located beside our Resort and a practice area for our golfers is located here.
8. Druids Acres
Offering five acres of teambuilding ground with a log cabin, the ideal location for outdoor pursuits.
9. Gatekeepers Lodge
A well-preserved lodge, built c.1850 this was a former Gatekeepers Lodge to Woodstock House.
10. Woodstock House
Experience the heritage of Woodstock House, a wonderful 1700’s period house steeped in history.
